視点たる宙。生たる表現のゆえん。

その妖艶な美しいピアノの響きは、
まるで天上の音が溢れているようだ。」

桐朋学園大学付属音楽教室を通してピアノを始め、
同高校からはピアノの他チェロも学び、同大学卒業を機に渡米。
バークリー音楽院にて南米の音楽に出会って以来、
長く海外を拠点に、多岐舞台にて活動してきた。
スペイン在住のハンドパン奏者Ravidとの共作、
ハンドパンとピアノによるデュオ”Ravid&Soleiyu”の楽曲
”Open Sky”は 故・坂本龍一氏に、
「とても新鮮で、すごく良い組み合わせで音色がいい」
と評される。（J-wave）
オオタヴィン監督の新作ドキュメンタリー映画
『ハッピー⭐︎エンド』（2025)の挿入音楽を担当。
これまでに、Alejandra Ortizをヴォーカルに迎えた
オリジナルアルム”Two”、ソロピアノ即興レコーディング
”Parallel Rivers”の二作を発表しており、Parallel Rivers 収録の
ピアノソロ楽曲は食器のノリタケによる
マスターピースコレクションPVに起用された。
現在は、ソロによるピアノと木製鍵盤ハーモニカ・声を軸に、
場づくりとしての音との関わりを探求している。

Aspects of exsistence
She underwent classical piano training
at Toho Gakuen school of music in her native Japan,
also learned cello as a secondary instrument.
She colored her palette of sound at Berklee College of music
where she met music from the land of South America
such as the voice of Milton Nascimento.
Since then, she has been exploring aspects of existence
listening to what leads her to each moment
performing and traveling around the globe.
Her collaborative improvised music (Ravid & Soleiyu)
with the HandPan player Ravid Goldschmidt was reviewed as
“Very refreshing, good combination of two, very good sound”
by Ryuichi Sakamoto on J-wave.
She has released two albums,
"Two," featuring Alejandra Ortiz on vocals,
and solo piano improvisation,"Parallel Rivers,".
Currently based in Japan,
living one's philosophy in form of re-creation.
