Ravid Goldschmidt
Ravid is one of the first handpan player.
After working with the Hang(HandPan) creators in Switzerland (2003) he decided to dedicate his life to this unique instrument and has developed a method of playing the instrument. Now he is one of the leading HandPan player, giving concerts workshops and making music
for Movies, TV and live performance.
Yui. Soleiyu Eye
Yui（Soleiyu) underwent classical piano training at
Toho Gakuen school of music in her native Japan,
also learned cello as a secondary instrument.
She colored her palette of sound at Berklee College of music where she met music from the land of South America such as the voice of Milton Nascimento.
Since then, she has been exploring aspects of existence
listening to what leads her to each moment performing and traveling around the globe.
Her collaborative improvised music (Ravid & Soleiyu)with the HandPan player Ravid Goldschmidt was reviewed as “Very refreshing, good combination of two, very good sound”by Ryuichi Sakamoto on J-wave.
Currently based in Japan,
living one's philosophy
in form of recreation/reorganization.
ラヴィッド ゴールドシュミット
（ハンドパン奏者）
多くの人々にはまだ未知であるこの打楽器
（Hang,ハング/ハンドパン)の製造・チューニングを、
スイスて、製作者のFeliz Rohner、Sabina Scharerに学び、
メタルの中のエネルギーの流れ方、
楽器のチューニング方法を知ることで
より有効的な奏で方を体得。
そこに様々な新しいテクニックを導入し、
TED, Hangについてのデモンストレーションを行うなど、
ハング演奏の第一人者となる。
その制作経験による彼オリジナルのメソッドの元に、
バルセロナを拠点にスペイン・ヨーロッパ全土にて
ワークショップを開催している。
楽曲は、２０１４年ラテンビート映画祭作品
”エル・ソムニ 夢の饗宴”
（El Somni El Celler de Can Roca）を含む、
数々の映像作品に起用されており、
本人も作品に出演している。
Silvia Perez Cruz、Carles Benaventなど、
数々の著名なミュージシャンと共演、録音に参加している。

桐朋学園大学付属音楽教室を通してピアノを始め、
同高校からはピアノの他チェロも学び、
同大学卒業を機に渡米。
バークリー音楽院にて南米の音楽に出会って以来、
長く海外の多様な土地土地を拠点に、
多岐舞台にて活動してきた。
「高度な技術に裏打ちされ、
たうたうような透明で暖かくその妖艶な美しいピアノの響きは、
まるで天上の音が溢れているようだ。」と、評される。
オオタヴィン監督のドキュメンタリー映画
「ハッピーエンド」の挿入音楽を担当。
これまでに、Alejandra Ortiz（Munik)をヴォーカルに迎えた
オリジナルアルム”Two”、
ソロピアノ即興レコーディング”Parallel Rivers”の二作を
発表している。
Parallel Rivers 収録のピアノソロ楽曲は、
食器のノリタケによるマスターピースコレクションPVに
起用された。
現在は日本を拠点に、
ソロによるピアノと木製鍵盤ハーモニカ・声を軸に、
空間の響きを意識した、
場づくりとしての音との関わりを実験している。
